This class provides individual attention to allow everyone to take advantage of what Yoga has to offer.

The class includes body/breath awareness exercises, poses and relaxation depending on the class’s needs each day. Enjoy in-creased flexibility and strength as well as less stress and physical discomfort.

Why YOGA?

Yoga is not a practice to be approached as a magical cure for all that ails. What Yoga does, however, is to teach awareness. The term “Yoga” means “to yoke” or “unite.” The practice of Yoga, then, serves to unite an individual’s body, mind and spirit. When an individual has this deep awareness of their physical and emotional states, healing begins.

The postures (asanas) of Yoga work every muscle, organ and gland of the body allow-ing for a release of tension, an increase in muscle control and mobility/flexibility. When physical tensions are released energy is able to flow freely through the body giv-ing a sense of relaxation and well-being.
