Modern life is as stressful for our kids as it is for us! Yoga offers kids an alternative to the bustling world of busy parents, school pressures, competitive sports, video games, malls and consumer culture.
Yoga fosters physical awareness, leading to emotional awareness. When children learn to be more aware, they are given the opportunity to make conscious choices about their behavior and attitude.
Yoga enhances flexibility, strength and coordination. Concentration and focus improve and kids find a sense of calmness and relaxation.
Kids are guided into the tradition of Yoga using storytelling, creative writing, cooperative games, music and other arts.
Children learn relaxation and breathing techniques, along with poses modified just for kids. Kids leave class feeling successful and positive, because Yoga starts with the individual child promoting self-acceptance, teaching kids to work from their own awareness.

Spend valuable time bonding with your baby through Yoga! Moms learn some techniques/postures to get yourself back in shape!
